February is American Heart Month

American Heart Month is an annual observance in February to raise awareness about heart disease and its risk factors. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and other countries, and it is essential to educate people about its prevention and management.

We are encouraging everyone at Premier to celebrate American Heart Month by getting yourself motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles to prevent heart disease.  Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States.   This is a disease that touches every family and age group, young and old.  Heart disease claims nearly 700,000 lives a year.  From heart attacks and strokes to high blood pressure, it is a national problem, which is often preventable with lifestyle changes and advancements in technology.

Premier is declaring February Heart Awareness Month and would like to ask you to join us in doing what we can to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy heart.  Lifestyle changes, along with being aware of the warning signs of a heart attach or stroke, will help us all be better prepared for our future.
