Job Description

Description: This opportunity requires an engaged, personable, quick learner for a Help desk position. The ideal candidate will be eager to teach others what they know about IT systems, willing to work on a regular basis with other departments, answer questions, and effectively engage, triage, and escalate trouble tickets from end users.
Responsibilities:
First point of contact for employee support for printers, computers, laptops, phones
Tagging and tracking of company hardware assets
Tracking company software license usage
Basic Active Directory and Office 365 administration
Regularly work with departments to optimize usage of technology
Computer setup and deployment
Other duties as required to assist Systems Administrators
Skills:
Manage tickets and basic troubleshooting
Desktop and laptop repair skills
Computer and phone deployment to users
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and products and train users
Understanding of basic networking concepts
Familiarity with both iOS and Android phones
Able to effectively communicate with users about their issues, document them, then solve or escalate as needed.
Pluses:
Experience with any of the following:
  • Docuware
  • Linux
  • Azure
  • Veeam
  • Camera systems
  • IT Certifications of any kind
Schedule:
9AM-6PM M-F, occasional work outside normal schedule
Travel: Occasional travel
Requirements: 2 years combined school/experience
