Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to pass background and drug tests
Must be able to pay attention to detail
Ability to read and write in English
Be able to lift 35lbs

Duties Include:

Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading
Use safe techniques to load and unload freight
Select and use proper freight handling equipment to move freight such as manual pallet jack, rollers etc. in a safe manner
Count and inspect freight coming off trailer

Able to lift “box” cartons over the course of a shift and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to distinguish between customer numbers so freight is distributed to the correct location(s)
Review freight bills for special instructions and accuracy
Properly block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport
