Back in 2011, Michael, alongside his family, embarked on a life-changing adventure, leaving their hometown of Detroit, MI, and embracing Georgia with faith and determination. Without any job prospects or backup plans, they faced each day with optimism and a strong belief in a brighter future.
Michael’s mornings were filled with seeing his daughters off to school, followed by an unwavering commitment to securing employment and providing for his family. He tirelessly filled out applications in his quest for a job. Along Cash Memorial Blvd., he discovered Premier Transportation, a company that would become his professional haven and a turning point in his life. One fateful day he received a life-changing call from Premier Transportation when they offered him an opportunity to join their team and attend orientation on a Tuesday—a sign that his faith and perseverance had been rewarded.
For the past 19 years, Michael has dedicated himself to Premier, embracing personal growth and learning throughout his journey from Detroit to Atlanta. His life in Georgia has been a testament to faith and blessings. Despite the initial challenges, he has been blessed in numerous ways.
Alongside his commitment to Premier, Michael pursued his education, obtaining his high school diploma at the age of 31. He and his wife built a beautiful home, witnessing their daughters’ successful paths in life. Additionally, his wife achieved her college degree and secured a fulfilling job. Through it all, their unwavering faith has guided them, celebrating 25 years of a strong and united marriage.
Within Premier, Michael found not only professional stability but also the means to provide for his family. With the company’s support, he acquired his own tractor, ensuring a secure future for his loved ones.
Michael’s remarkable story serves as a testament to the power of faith, hard work, and self-belief.
